Fear of being seen? Well you are not alone.

   It’s strange, isn’t it? Wanting to be seen but also fearing it. And when I say “seen,” I’m not talking about fame or attention online. I mean allowing people to truly witness the real you—the version of yourself that doesn’t hide behind masks. This is scary, but it’s also necessary for growth.  And yes, you can do it. Where Does This Fear Come From? For most of us, the fear of being seen originates from past experiences, often with the people we love most. These experiences leave lasting impressions that shape how we view ourselves. Some common causes include: Criticism for being new: Maybe you tried something for the first time and someone made you feel incompetent. Being ignored: You just wanted to be heard, yet people overlooked you. Being put down for being different: Standing out is often met with judgment. I remember a moment from my own life.
